Finest Kind

The Finest Kind is a Tournament Equipped Classic 37 foot Merritt, Fast and comfortable.  Equipped with live bait wells.  We fish with live bait,  dead bait, strip bait and lures.  Whatever will work in a given situation on a given day. Finest Kind is a Tournament equipped with Gold Shimano Tiagra 2 speed reels and Penn International reels,  from the light to the big 130s.

Finest Kind is a 37’ Merritt built-in 1964 by Buddy Merritt himself.  He called the 37 “THE PERFECT FISHING BOAT” and built her with one purpose in mind… to catch and raise fish.  Since hull number 12 was launched she has been meticulously restored and repowered with twin 350 hp Yanmar Diesels giving her a 24-knot cruising speed.

The Exact II

The Exact is a tournament-equipped Bertram 35 Sport Fisherman. This fast clean and comfortable boat will get you fishing fast!

Equipped with the custom tower,  outriggers,  fish finder,  live bait wells,  fish boxes and cooler,  shaded cabin,  and clean head (bathroom).  She is tournament equipped with a deluxe fighting chair, top-of-the-line Gold Shimano Tiagra 2 speed reels and Penn International reels,  from the light to the big 130s.  She fishes with live bait dead bait,  strip bait and lures.

Few,  if any,  other boats have had such a profound influence on the design of powerboats as has the Bertram 35.  The first boat design to use a Deep-V hull, it is arguably the most famous modern boat design ever built,  the 35 Bertram has achieved near cult status, infecting boaters around the world.  Designed by Ray Hunt and built by Richard Bertram,  the 35 was in production for 25 years.  Many are still on the water and in use throughout the world.

Reel Hooker

The Reel Hooker is a Tournament equipped 35 foot Bertram, Fast and comfortable. Equipped with live bait wells. We fish with live bait, dead bait, strip bait and lures. Something for every situation.

Reel Hooker is equipped with Gold Shimano Tiagra 2 speed reels and Penn International reels, from the light to the big 130s.

Few boats can rival the 15-year production run enjoyed by the Bertram 35 Convertible. For many 35 feet is the ideal size for an offshore convertible short of going into serious debt. This particular MK II model is the top dog who commands all other convertibles to stay on the porch.
